The scoring system for Positive Entertainment reviews is two tier. It includes a more usual score out of 5 and a positive indicator in the form of a battery to show the degree of positive content the entertainment has to offer. It is therefore possible entertainment might be excellent in the usual manner but offers only light positive entertainment. On the other hand poorly made entertainment might have strong positive content. Clearly the ideal situation is for the entertainment to be top quality and very positive as well.
This first score out of 5 is the usual judgement on the entertainment form. In the case of a video game it might include graphics, sound, gameplay, interface and stability. A score of 3 or above is good.
0 – Terrible
1 – Seriously flawed, not worth buying but has something small to offer.
2 – Probably best to avoid this
3 – Worthwhile especially if the genre or specifics appeal
4 – Good, few misgivings
5 – Excellent
The battery icons are to show just how much positive content the entertainment form provides. Each review published is considered to have enough positive aspects to warrant a review in the first place.
